The article "Trans-Caspian International Transport Route: Challenges and Development Opportunities" explores the key aspects and prospects for the development of an important transport corridor connecting East Asia with Europe through Central Asia and the Caspian Sea. This route is an important part of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative aimed at creating an efficient transport link between Asia and Europe. The article examines the main challenges facing the route, such as the lack of developed infrastructure, political and geopolitical risks, legal and customs barriers, as well as environmental problems.
In addition, the article analyzes current and future opportunities for the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. Prospects are discussed, including the need for significant investments in infrastructure, improved international cooperation, the introduction of new technologies and environmental sustainability. It is noted that in order to realize the full potential of the route, it is necessary to overcome many problems related to infrastructure, political risks, legal barriers and environmental challenges.
The article also provides data on the current volume of trade and forecasts for its growth, investment needs, and a comparison of the cost of TTM transportation with other routes such as the Northern Corridor and sea lanes.
